Greatest game ever hangover
I still haven't recovered from last week. If we get done over this week I'll choose to think that the season ended at 4.52pm last Saturday afternoon.
Any idea why Ferguson was dropped so we could have Carroll and Nicholson in the same forward line? I'm flummoxed. No surprises that Bizzell has been given the arse though, given that he's done nothing for weeks.
I won't even be at the game. I think we'll get done. First person to comment with votes gets to have them counted towards the Player of the Year votes.

UPDATE - It's not by personal choice that I won't be there, I've already ditched work once last week to go and another would be pushing it. Sadly BigFooty don't pay me enough (or anything for that matter) to write full time for them.

Just when I thought it couldn't get any better after last week...
Then, I was elated. I hugged strangers. I sang the song.
Tonight, I had nothing left. I couldn't sing, I couldn't cheer. I could only weep uncontrollably at the emotional release. My hands shook for an hour afterwards.
God, I love football.

That was probably the best game I've ever been to - equal to the qualifying final vs Carlton in 00. We were going nuts in redlegs.

Seeing as it hasn't been done yet, here are votes:
5 - Jeff White (buy that man a beer and give him the captaincy if Neitz gives it up next year)
4 - Russell Robertson (buy that man one too - next years Vice Captain)
3 - Guy Rigoni (gave us something through the middle)
2 - Nathan Brown (steady of HBF, gave us drive)
1 - Nathan Carroll (suprise suprise).
Davey was bloody important with his chasing (once again), kicking was pretty ordinary unfortunately; Yze and Dutchy important in the last quarter (Dutchy kicked straight!); and Nicho played OK. Beamer, Green and Junior pretty quiet.
Also, unlucky to get votes was the cameraman who manages to get me on tv almost every week.

5 White rucked well all night and kicked winning goal
4 Robbo kicked 6 goals
3 Maloney best game for the year and contested for full 100 minutes
2 Nathan Brown gave great run all night from HB line
1 Travis Johnstone - polished performance all night.
apologies to Davey, Carroll, Rigoni
and further apologies to Bell who was steady in back pocket and the rest of the team who all put in something at some point to get the team over the line.
